Mark your calendars for Saturday August 22nd! 

OHS members, and the public, are invited to visit Silver Spring Studio and Farm on 1705 Robertson Road. From 9 am to 3 pm there will be a full day of fun and educational outdoor activities for people of all ages.

OHS directors and members will be on site to provide information on the OHS, our community impact initiatives, online resources, colouring pages for kids, and to answer your gardening questions (as best as we can). If you would like to help out please contact Cecilia Lee at hcfourney@gmail.com. You are welcome to visit or volunteer, for any amount of time you have (for volunteering, you do not need to commit to the whole day; an hour or so would be appreciated).

You may already know Silver Spring Studio from their programming for adults with disabilities, spring compost sale, the farm's annual garlic harvest, or the community garden. They have recently expanded their gardening space. This year's addition of accessible planters is one step towards broadening gardening opportunities and building a fully accessible garden.
