CAPTURING OUR YEAR, SUPPORTING OUR MISSION

At long last! The OHS 2026 Yearbook is now available online to members and will be released to the public in November 2026. Limited printed copies will be available for purchase at upcoming OHS meetings, including the May 27th Auction and Plant Sale, ($25 per copy*).

2025 was a year of meaningful progress for the Ottawa Horticultural Society, and this Yearbook aims not only to capture what has taken place, but also to offer a glimpse of what lies ahead. OHS Board members and volunteers alike should feel proud of the remarkable amount of work, creativity, and commitment that sustain this formidable organization.

Key highlights of 2026 included the refresh of our membership system and website. This important endeavour has improved accessibility and the overall member experience. In addition, our Community Impact, Outreach and Volunteer Work 2025 initiative was a tremendous success, with outstanding community support and volunteer engagement throughout the Ottawa area (pp. 42–50). Notwithstanding these achievements, our ongoing activities, including plant sales, the annual auction, our speaker series program, and the annual photography competition continue to thrive and reflect the depth of commitment within the OHS community.

We hope it brings you joy and pride in our accomplishments.
