OHS 2026 Summer Garden Pop-Up Tours
Our summer garden tours are back, and this year we’re shining a spotlight on the creativity, passion, and generosity of Ottawa’s gardeners as we embrace our 2026 theme, Let’s Celebrate Ottawa Gardeners.
Most of us don’t have grand or formal gardens; we’re enthusiastic amateurs who carve out green spaces for our families, neighbours, and guests to enjoy. This summer, we invite you to celebrate the gardeners who make our city bloom. Local OHS members are opening their gardens and sharing the stories behind them — their successes, their challenges, and the community projects they support through volunteering and local initiatives.
We’re also introducing two unique tour experiences this year. In July, OHS members will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the Faith Fyles exhibition at the Ottawa Art Gallery, a special opportunity to explore the work of one of Canada’s pioneering botanical artists. Then in August, we present “Four Gardens, Four Stories”, a grouping of garden visits offered on the same day, each with its own character and inspiration. Members are welcome to choose the garden that suits them best… or enjoy all four.
Come meet these generous gardeners on their own turf during our OHS Summer Tours. Each visit is relaxed, welcoming, and wonderfully down‑to‑earth. No rain dates. Rain or shine, we’ll see you there.
