OHS Receives District Appreciation Award

Between 2024 and 2025, 84 new members joined the Ottawa Horticultural Society, and that milestone did not go unnoticed.

At the District 2 Annual General Meeting on Saturday, April 18th, organized by the Nepean Horticultural Society, the OHS was presented with a District Appreciation Award for membership recruitment, recognizing us as the society that attracted the most new members among all 19 horticultural societies in our region.

New members are the lifeblood of any volunteer organization; they bring fresh perspectives, enthusiastic energy, and a wealth of talents that enrich everything we do. To all who have recently joined: thank you sincerely for your membership and for your contributions to our growing community.
