Herbal Teas and Food Security

Kayoki Post-Whiteduck first started gardening when he was 15. After working in the forestry sector for a few years after high school he decided to go back to school for Horticulture Technician at Camosun College Victoria B.C. After which he worked in landscaping for a few years until 2016 when he started his own business Mitigomin Agriculture, where he grows and sells herbal teas. In 2021 he partnered with the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa to create the Ajashki Food Security and Climate Change Learning Center. Kayoki enjoys learning about plants, gardening and medicine. His interests are wild foods, organic food production, pollinators and has a particular obsession with plants in the mint family.
