Mark Your Calendars – for this years OHS AGM and Snowflake Social!
Plan to enjoy a little holiday magic in early December by attending the OHS Snowflake Social, scheduled for December 12, 2023 at 7:30 pm at St. Mark’s Church.
This will be a holiday reception with a winter wonderland theme. Don a little holiday bling and bring along something sweet or savoury to share with fellow OHS members. Do make sure to eat your supper ahead-of-time, as this event will consist strictly of holiday appetizers and desserts. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle and share the spirit of the holiday season. It is also a chance to honour our hard-working volunteers, meet your OHS Board members and view the 2023 OHS photography entries.
In the spirit of environmental stewardship, please bring along your own plate, cup and utensils. Marking ingredients on any edible contributions will support those with food allergies.
Be prepared for a short business meeting. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will recognize and honour many volunteers who lend a hand every year to keep this horticultural society vibrant and whose work contributes to the greening our city. Come and celebrate in the presentation of several OHS awards. There will be winners announced and prizes given for the OHS photography competition. Who knows? You might even be the winner one of the table prizes and door prizes, including a gift certificate from a local nursery.
For those who can’t attend in person, we will record the meeting and post it to YouTube in a couple of days.
