The theme of the 2023 competition was “The Music of Your Garden” with seven classes (Macro/Extreme Close-up, Beauty of a Flower, Water in the Garden, Growing Vertical, Flora & Fauna, Voluptuous Vista, and Roses). A total of 91 images were submitted by 10 gardener-photographers.

The winner of the Judge’s Best in Competition award was Cynthia Sutcliffe for her aesthetic image ‘Echinacea Glow’ submitted in Class 2. Cynthia’s photo is featured on the cover of the 2024 OHS Yearbook.

The People’s Choice award was won by Janet Sullivan for her beautiful image of a ‘Wildflower Vista’ submitted in Class 6. Janet’s photograph is featured on the OHS Facebook site.
