We resumed work at the Bronson Centre on Saturday, August 22. The plan was to plant the remaining junipers and
to mulch all the plants generously with composted pine bark. The team included: Sheila Burvill,

Laurie Graham, Jayne Huntley, Eric Jones, Gillian Macdonnell, Jennifer Mix,  Margaret Scratch, and Jean Stalker.

The workday ended with delicious scones and jam on the picnic table at Sconewitch,
where an enterprising insect dropped by and helped herself to the leftover jam.

The Community Planting Committee urges all OHS members to come and join our merry band of community-minded gardeners. We do a lot of sweating, have a lot of fun, and get to know each other a lot better, all while contributing to the beauty and comfort of our city. Please consider joining us next spring.
