Bronson Centre Project

Community Planting Bulletin - The Bronson Centre Stage I

Stage I | Stage II | Stage III
August 11, 2009

Last Saturday's beautiful weather made moving several tons of mixed garden soil and mushroom compost ALMOST a pleasure. The new perennial beds are now ready for planting this Sunday, August 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. We will be planting trees and shrubs inoculated with Myke, moving the left-over soil to other beds around the building, and raking the remaining lawn in preparation for the arrival of mulch the following weekend. We should be finished in good time. See the two "before" and "after" photos attached.

If you can help out, please bring a shovel or spade, a bucket, secateurs, edging tools, and your favourite planting tool.

Special thanks go to Eric Jones, Jeff Blackadar, Connie Munro, and Laurie Graham for their hard labour this Saturday. We have discovered with delight the fortifying properties of the Scone Witches excellent scones!

Please contact me if you have any questions about the project.
